We were out this way in
2010 and
2014.
There's not much to see in Mist anymore. It's at the crossroads of two
State highways in the middle of nowhere. This old general store burned down
some years back.
Here's some pictures of the
Camp 18 segment.

It was a pea soup, zero visibility, miserable ride until we got to
Buxton. Then, it cleared right up into a mostly warm, blue sky day.
We don't get many days like this during the dead of Winter so not
taking advantage of it and going for a ride just is not an option.
Here's a classic.. taken at Camp 18. A dead Shelby Cobra being jump started
by a Camero. Hard not to laugh....
Interestingly (or not) it turned into pea soup fog when we got back into
Manning. Looks like it never really cleared out much in town. Good thing we
headed out to the coast!
Best Dead of Winter ride in many years!
