The White Pass and Yukon Railroad Depot at Canadian Customs, Fraser,
British Columbia.
These images were taken with my Nikon D810 and nifty fifty lens.
I really looked forward to riding this line. It's been on my bucket
list for years. But there were just too God damned many people on this
train! They don't allow you to go car-to-car. Each coach has four
platforms capable of handing 2 and maybe 3 people each. There was some
fat cow with a camera that was bigger than her caboose ass hogging all
of them.... clomping from one to the other..and she was such a moose
that no one else could get on the platform when she was there.
I finally got tired of that crap. I'll be damned if I'm going to fight
a herd of fucktards just to get a position where I can take a few pictures!
Turned out to be about the worst train ride I've ever been on.
You can probably see how amused I am at these Obama-loving commies
by this time. I never seem to have a grenade when I need one.
This is the trail those poor bastards had to haul themselves and 2,000
pounds of supplies up ...20 miles....many, many trips... not a lot of
exposure but narrow (especially with 2-way traffic) and fairly steep
at about 3,000' elevation.
Here's more pictures of the
